March 1, 2008: State of Our Watersheds Conference
This conference will focus on the five commitments made in the regional watershed agreement - TRASH, GREENING, STORMWATER, PUBLIC HEALTH, AND REDEVELOPMENT. It will be an opportunity to hear about proposed goals for each of the topics and to discuss action steps and funding ideas to reach the goals. Watershed organizations, community associations, environmental leaders, civic activists, sportsmen, business leaders - all are encouraged to attend.

Members of the newly formed "Committee of Principals" will be present, as will the Mayor and the County Executive.

March 16, 2008: JFWA's Annual Forum
Join the JFWA for our annual meeting at the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute (UMBI). Highlights include speakers Rocky Powell and Dr. Allen Place as well as a tour of UMBI's marine aquaculture facilities. Light fare will be provided.
