Monthly Restoration Projects
The JFWA hosts a monthly project, usually on the Second Saturday of the month. These projects are open to the public, all ages are welcome, no experience is necessary and tools and gloves are provided!

Students - do you need community service hours to fulfill graduation requirements? Teachers - do you need a project to fulfill grant obligations or just want to get your kids outside? The JFWA will work with you to set up a meaningful and age-appropriate service learning project to fit your needs.

Let the JFWA arrange an exciting and significant project for your group. Past corporate events have included tree plantings, invasive plant removals, and trash clean-ups.

Photographers and Writers
We are always in need of photographers and writers at our restoration projects or special events, or submit photos or make a written contribution for use in our newsletters and website.
Outreach
Represent the JFWA at community events or distribute JFWA newsletters and flyers to libraries, community centers, or other gathering places.
The Jones Falls Watershed Association gets the job done with the help of volunteers. In 2006 alone, over 650 volunteers have removed 17,000 pounds of trash and 4900 pounds of invasive species from the watershed!
